We are a collective of interdisciplinary artists engaging with materiality, memory, and ecology through sculpture, video, installation, and performance. Our work emerges from a shared commitment to investigating the imprints of history, the politics of the body, and the ecologies that shape our relationships with place, time, and each other. Rejecting narratives of a pristine and unbroken past, we instead embrace the fractured, the reassembled, and the reimagined as essential sites of transformation.
Rooted in the expanded fields of ecofeminism, Mono-ha movement, sex ecologies, speculative mythology, and ritual practice, our collective engages in acts of reparation, both materially and conceptually. Through our work, we interrogate structures of power that impose narratives of perfection, extraction, and control, while simultaneously seeking modes of healing, care, and reconnection. We look to material histories, craft traditions, and speculative futures, seeing in them the potential for alternate ways of knowing, remembering, and existing.
Each of us brings a unique perspective, medium, and process to the collective. Whether through textiles and the rituals of repair, glitching the visual record to disrupt hegemonic narratives, reconfiguring domestic and discarded materials, or harnessing emerging technologies to reveal hidden memories and histories, we craft spaces that challenge, reflect, and invite dialogue. We see our practices as entangled with the ecosystems we inhabit, responsive to the ghosts, traces, and latent possibilities within landscapes, bodies, and objects.
